Our Techniques
Diversified Technique
The diversified technique uses specific contacts and lines of drives to administer the adjustment to the patient. The doctor utilizes a high velocity/low amplitude thrust to restore proper biomechanics to the joint being adjusted.
Active Release Technique®
ART® is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART®. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles. For more info, visit www.ActiveRelease.com.
Thompson Technique
The Thompson Technique uses a system of leg length checks, palpation and a specially designed adjusting table to assist the doctor in the adjustment. This allows the doctor to use minimal force while providing maximum benefit for the patient.
Activator® Method
The Activator Method® of adjusting uses a series of leg length checks and isolation tests to determine the specific points on the body that require an adjustment. The adjustment is administered with a spring loaded instrument to provide very specific directional force. This is an excellent alternative to the typical high velocity low amplitude adjustments performed by most chiropractors.
Logan Basic Technique
The Logan Basic Technique is a light force technique which uses a contact on ligaments connected to the sacrum at the base of the spine. This allows the muscles and other tissues around the sacrum to be used like a lever to realign the spine. Additional contact points are utilized along the spine to assist in the adjustment. Logan Basic Technique was developed by H.B. Logan founder of Logan College.
